Want to fellowship with others of similar interests???First Assembly is starting “Connect Groups” on the 3rd and 4th Sunday evenings of each month. These groups will be a special time of Bible study and discussion with others that can relate to you personally. We will have the “Courageous” study for the men of the church. We have “Why Godly People do UnGodly Things” by Beth Moore for the Ladies. We have a youth Bible study called “Vivid”. We also have a special study for Young Ladies age 16-25 called “Every Young Woman’s Battle. We also have our children’s musical the the children age 1st grade to 8th grade can participate in, as well as childcare. Come on out and find your special niche’ to fit into. Be with others that will love and support you.

Children’s Musical “The Ultimate Superstar”

First Assembly is putting together a children’s musical called “The Ultimate Superstar” to showcase all the talent at our church. All children 1st grade to 8th grade are welcome to come and try out. We will have a meeting Sunday, March 10th after the a.m. service(lunch provided) for anyone interested in being in the musical, or volunteering. Men’s Ministry Retreat

Hey Men, do you need a break? A time of Spiritual Refeshing???We are going to the Men’s Ministry Retreat March 1-3 at the Twin Lakes Campground. Activities will include: Annual Church Cook-off, 8 mild Four-wheelre run, Tup of War, Skeet shooting, Bowling/nie ball pool, Glaf and Frisbee golf, Home Run hitting contest, Domino’s, Checkers, and much, much more. Ladies Fitness Classes

Hey Ladies, we are here to help you keep your New Years ResolutionStarting February 6th we will be having a ladies fitness class with a professional trainer. We will meet Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at 6:30 pm in the Older Children’s Church Room. We will work on cardio and strength training. This class will be offered for free, however, if you need childcare there will be a nominal fee. Super Bowl Party

We are having an exciting event for Super Bowl 46On February 5th at 5:00 pm we will be having a Super Bowl Party. We will start in the main sanctuary, and then move to the First Assembly Gym. There will be a men’s chili cook-off and the winner of this event will be able to have his very own Lazy Boy recliner to sit and enjoy the rest of the evenings events. There will be door prizes throughout the night. Come support your favorite team and have a fun time of fellowship.

50th Anniversary Celebration

First Assembly of God church celebrated it’s 50th anniversary as a church. All past Pastors of the church that were able to come were in attendance. The church was presented with an award from our District Superintendent Douglas Fullinwider. The founding members of the church were honored also. There was dinner on the ground as well as various singing groups in attendance. The event culminated with the release of 50 balloons in front of the church. Praise God for what He has done.
